About Peter

Peter Sylvester is a long time NYC resident who has, among other things, worked in a gas station, hitch-hiked across the country in the middle of winter, been a cab driver, acted on European stages, been a limo driver, driven Greyhound buses, done construction, run a theater company, worked in a bar for a long time, borrowed $80,000 to get a graduate degree he never used, written plays, sold encyclopedias, taken too many pictures, etc. He grew up in the New Jersey suburbs and, many years later, lives in a fifth floor walk-up tenament apartment with his lovely wife and a very mean cat.
